It has been a year since I started thinking about such instruction for myself and at my freight spot in Kupavna (Moscow region). And I want to recommend it to you...
As you probably know, I have a dacha in Kupavna, and there are many places for graffiti, and one of them is my favourite freight spot. This picturesque place is on a relatively narrow isthmus with a total length of about 1000 meters. The area is a sump for freight cars, eight lanes wide and surrounded on both sides by a reservoir. There are towers with searchlights and cameras at the end and the beginning of the spot. So the site is monitored, both by the representatives of the Russian Railways and us in their direction. But when you paint alone, there is no way to control them from the tower, and they try to be on the alert sometimes...
My friends and I often swim before and during painting the freights in summer, but not in autumn or spring.
So the idea is to swim in cold water (spring, autumn) before painting, having prepared all the equipment for action in advance.
It is necessary to plunge into the cold water and, leaving after bathing, encouraged by the water, start a hot and intriguing graffiti on the carriage, which is 10 meters from the water. Of course, I would like to introduce this as a traditional painting in Kupavna, since the spot has recently become heavily controlled, and there is not always a lot of time for painting. And encouraging painting can reveal the new potential of both the place and the artist, and do not forget about the benefits of hardening the body.
In a healthy body, healthy mind, and healthy graffiti...
